I drew some line art with both hands at the same time to get more interesting results and here's what i came up with.
LATEST PROJECTS
Line Project
Our first project was to take simple lines and make more complex patterns. Here's what I came up with.
These can be used to make a number of patterns or even in branding.
Points Project
The next project was to take pictures of points. These are points I found just walking around the housing area at college. I really like the way it all came together.

Here I've rearranged the points and edited them onto a phone case. I found this to be a good way to show my projects use practically as well as aesthetically.
Line Art
Line Art
Line art is defined as: Line art or line drawing is any image that consists of distinct straight or curved lines placed against a (usually plain) background, without gradations in shade (darkness) or hue (color) to represent two-dimensional or three-dimensional objects.
This project was inspired by Andy Warhol and his classic line drawings. He did most of his line work using photographs and charcoal transfer paper. His museum is located in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and I really recommend checking it out if you ever have the chance. I'll link his website here fore more information.https://www.warhol.org/

I morphed a drawing of my gourd onto a record player to become a gramophone. The natural shape of the gord makes this somewhat believable, it's not that far of a stretch from the truth.

for this project we were asked to go around one of the SCAD buildings and take pictures of pieces of art that represented some of our vocabulary. Here are my favorites.

Here is a wall made up of body armour lamps. I thought they made a good example for the word Scale. Scale is defined as the size of an object (a whole) in relationship to another object (another whole).
This piece, I think, shows great example of repetition. The way the artist portrays the same image over and over is the very definition of repetition itself.
This art shows a good example of containment. The physical barriers that separate the images from the plant life are there to "contain" the different parts of art.
Finally this art instalment shows an amazing example of Cast Shadow. It is not the art piece itself (the ship wheel) that makes this example so perfect, but instead, the lighting used to display it. the way this wheel was set up, it has light coming at it from multiple angles and directions giving it such wonderful shadows. The vary in darkness and opacity and make it so much more interesting to look at than the same wheel with a flat background.

Musical Geometry
Musical Geometry
This project was all about involving art in music. For this piece I chose to animate a little part from Bohemian Rhapsody. This is a song I sang all the time on my karaoke machine when I was little and has silly meaning to me. A piece of the song I remember singing over and over again is "Scaramouche Scaramouche will you do the fandango?" unfortunately I had no idea what they were saying in the song so I improvised with. "scare a moose, scare a moose, will you do the fandango."
The full song is downloaded above and here are the real lyrics if you want to sing along.
Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide,
No escape from reality
Open your eyes,
Look up to the skies and see,
I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy,
Because I'm easy come, easy go
Little high, little low
Any way the wind blows doesn't really matter to me, to me
Mama, just killed a man
Put a gun against his head
Pulled my trigger, now he's dead
Mama, life had just begun
But now I've gone and thrown it all away
Mama, ooh (any way the wind blows)
Didn't mean to make you cry
If I'm not back again this time tomorrow
Carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters
Too late, my time has come
Sends shivers down my spine
Body's aching all the time
Goodbye, everybody, I've got to go
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth
Mama, ooh (any way the wind blows)
I don't wanna die,
I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all
I see a little silhouetto of a man,
Scaramouche, Scaramouche, will you do the Fandango?
Thunderbolt and lightning
Very, very frightening me
(Galileo) Galileo
(Galileo) Galileo
Galileo Figaro
Magnifico-o-o-o-o
I'm just a poor boy, nobody loves me
He's just a poor boy from a poor family
Spare him his life from this monstrosity
Easy come, easy go, will you let me go?
Bismillah! No, we will not let you go (let him go!)
Bismillah! We will not let you go (let him go!)
Bismillah! We will not let you go (let him go!)
Will not let you go (let him go!)
Never, never let you go
Never let me go, oh
No, no, no, no, no, no, no
Oh, mama mia, mama mia (mama mia, let me go)
Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me, for me, for me
So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye? (Yeah!)
So you think you can love me and leave me to die?
Oh, baby, can't do this to me, baby
Just gotta get out, just gotta get right outta here
Nothing really matters
Anyone can see
Nothing really matters
Nothing really matters to me
Any way the wind blows

Points
Points In Nature
This assignment was similar to the points project, only we were given a theme. I chose to use animals for my "nature" in this piece and to use the natural point of the head, the nose. So here, I have compiled 20 of my favorite little noses from One Love Animal Rescue. all these pets are adoptable and can be found here in Savannah Georgia.
Maybe you can't afford to adopt one of these noses today, there is still a way to help make sure they will get a good home. http://oneloveanimalrescue.com/donate/

Thanks again for for letting me use your images One Love Animal Rescue. If you or someone you know is looking to adopt an animal, here are just a few of the lovely residents of One Love. Sergeant tibbs and Neno are both featured in my collage. So, if you fell in love with their sniffers, you might just love them in real life.
Music
For this piece I was inspired by the music of Edith Piaf. I tried to show how smoothly the words came off her lips, but also fast and rigid. The rose was a good example of something soft and beautiful but also sharp like its thorns. That is why I took an image of Edith and edited together smoke, and roses to show all the tones of her voice.
Here is everything you need to know about Edith Piaf -> https://www.biography.com/people/edith-piaf-9439893
This is the original concept for the piece.
Music
This work can be applicable to her song La Vie En Rose as well

Visual Design Analysis
This Assignment involved the fibonacci sequence and color. We were told to give 3 color samples. one of red, yellow and blue. The second example is green purple and orange, and the final is made of complimentary colors combined.
First thing's first. What is the Fibonacci sequence?

Here's the book.
It was originally written in french and is very influential in french culture. Pictures of it are even on their currency. It also comes in an english version and is an amazing read, I highly recommend.

These are just a few pictures to show the process and building of a statue at the SCAD museum that I found really interesting. It was built by Jedd Novatt. We took a class trip there to learn about the presentation of artwork and how simple things like labels and frames make a big difference.
Here are some of the drawings
and here is the
final product.

This is my new SCAD ID. The background is something I doodle frequently in my sketchbooks that reminds me of Savannah. The construction cones are because of the restoration SCAD has done for so many old buildings in the Savannah area, and the leaves are for the lush green warm weather all year round. I colored it on photoshop to make it somewhat complementary. and added a photo of me on my first day of college. Enjoy!

I also have a theory about the color green. Most of her childhood memories show a green background or green accents. I think this also shows in the next picture of Amelie going back home to visit her father and she wears the pop of color, this time green, because she is home. In the next picture you see her leaving home and developing her pop of color in her hat.

The Wizard of Oz is a film that is known for and relies heavily on color to tell its story. The iconic green witch and yellow brick road are what make this film so recognizable.
The first color transformation occurs when Dorothy leaves Kansas for Oz and her world is filled with color. You can see the grey scale photo of her and Todo all alone on a farm compared to her in a world full of color and surrounded by new people. I think this shows her curiosity and excitement for new things.
Color is used to link Dorothy with other characters. Like in this image, the color blue is used to link the monkey to dorothy and the darkness in the color along with the vibrant red show that she is in danger.
